Glasses for Wide Faces — Custom-Printed, No Temple Squeeze | iAyez

Wide face · Big head · Printed to your width

Frames that end where your face does.

If every pair of glasses clamps your temples, leaves marks above your ears, or looks two sizes too small — the frame was built for an average face. Yours isn't average, and it shouldn't have to be. A 30-second scan measures your exact width; we print your frame to it in aerospace-grade PA12. Zero spring tension. Zero squeeze.

Sound familiar?

You don't have a big head problem. You have a small frame problem.

The vice grip

Temples bow outward to fit, then spend all day springing back — clamping your head like a headband you never asked for.

The 4pm headache

Hours of temple pressure above your ears builds into tension headaches you've stopped even blaming on your glasses.

Red badge of misfit

Take them off and there they are: dents at your temples, marks above your ears.

The shrunken look

"Large" frames that still sit narrow, pinch at the hinges, and make your face look bigger instead of balanced.

The industry made one width and called it universal. Here's the fix →

Why frames squeeze

"One size fits most" was never going to fit you.

Mass-produced frames come in a narrow band of widths built around an average face. If your face is wider, the temples must flex outward to get on at all — and flexed plastic acts like a spring, pressing inward on your temples every second you wear them. That constant pressure is where the marks, the soreness, and the headaches come from.

"Flexible" frames just squeeze more politely. The real fix is a frame with zero spring tension — one whose front width, temple spread, and temple length are printed to your scan, so it rests on 17 balanced contact points instead of clamping at two.

Injection molding can't make one frame per face. Industrial SLS printing can: we print a batch of one, to ±0.1mm. See how the scan and printing work.

Questions, answered.

Why do glasses squeeze my head and give me headaches?

Standard frames come in one narrow band of widths. If your face is wider, the temples must bow outward to fit — and flexed plastic acts like a spring, clamping inward all day. That pressure above the ears is a classic trigger for tension headaches. A frame printed to your actual width has no spring tension at all.

What size do I need for a wide face?

You don't need to know. The 30-second scan measures your face width, temple spread, and ear position among 47 measurements — and your frame is printed to those numbers at ±0.1mm. No size charts, no gambling on "XL."

Will bigger frames overwhelm my face?

Proportion beats raw size. You preview every style in AR on your own face — 360° rotation, side-by-side comparison — so you see the balance before you buy, not after.

What if the fit isn't perfect?

We remake them free under our Perfect Fit Guarantee — plus a free adjustment reprint in your first year and a 2-year warranty.

Does $295 include prescription lenses?

Yes — frame, prescription lenses with anti-glare, UV, and blue-light protection, the guarantee, and the first-year free reprint. FSA and HSA accepted; reorders price-locked.

How fast will I get them?
